Late summer of 2004, this band of light mares produces some of the best foals every year. Left to right, Mare 28 (Rebecca), Mare 5, 11 (Sparkles), 6, 99, 22-99 (Swampy), and mare 18-99.

A nice group of draft and draft cross mares. The three grey mares on the left are out of percheron mares, and sired by a quarter horse. They are 23-0, 5-0, 10-0, along with 7-1, 13-0, and 19. Some of these mares have been exposed to a thoroughbred stallion for the 2006 foal crop

Most of the foals in this picture are sired by a Quarter Horse - a versatile, sturdy combination with these top-notch belgian mares.In 2006, we are expecting some nice Paint-sired foals out of Belgian mares. Percheron-sired foals will also be available and will make very nice, easy-going and reliable riding horses.

After stallions are removed from the pastures on August 1st, the mares are allowed to roam freely together. Though the bands may meet and intermingle from time to time, they always separate into their original groups. Here we have a band of belgians, and two bands of draft crosses.
